This is the best rice cooker I've ever used. It costs less than the major brands, but it produces more consistent results. It works well with brown rice, white rice, and we sometimes mix in tomatoes, onions, and beans to make mexican rice.

It is faster than the Sanyo rice cooker we tried, and has better controls than the Zojirushi rice cookers.
